Internal Sales-Lifting gear Dept.
Due to expansion of our business, Specialised Lifting Service/Oka Lifting Gear requires the services of a highly motivated Internal Sales person to promote the companies range of lifting equipment. The position offers a unique opportunity for an individual of suitable credentials to become part of a very successful team.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Ø Internal phone sales for the sales, inspection, repair, testing, loose lifting gear on Site or in SLS workshop.
SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Attend to sales enquiries & weekly meetings.
Ø Preparation, presentation & follow up quotations to clients
Ø Preparation of sales and jobs for invoicing
Ø Liaising with the field and workshop personnel for the completion of the work.
Ø Preparation of client’s loose lifting gear registers in association with the Lifting Gear Department Service co-coordinator and lifting gear department personnel.
Ø Prepare and provide full trace ability of equipment being sold, inspected, repaired and tested.
Ø Maintain and document a full inventory of loose lifting gear stock items.
Ø Carry out any other work that may be requested by the Service Manager, Productivity Manager
Ø Ensure that work Procedures are carried out.
Ø Provide customer call reports
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Ø Mechanical fitting trade background a distinct advantage
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Ø To have completed 1 months “hands on” training with SLS Lifting gear Technicians with the use of Lifting Gear repairs/inspections.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ø Computer literate
Ø Ability to produce neat hand written reports
Ø Maintain a neat & tidy appearance
Ø Responsible attitude
Ø Highly organised
Ø Excellent memory for detail.
