May07- Super Steel-Refurbish 5t Cranes -AS2550.3

SLS Recently won the contract to refurbished two older model double girder cranes to Australian Standard AS2550.3 .

the scope of work was  inclusive;

Reduce the existing Crane Span from from 18.6mts> 16.5mts

Dismantle and inspect all gearbox`s ,brakes etc.

Defective and worn bearing were replaced

Remove & machine all trolley and crane wheels

Replacement Hoist Ropes

Clean down & Repaint the Crane Structure and components

Supply and install new crane signage

Convert the existing Pendant Control to a Radio Control

Installation of anticollision and slow limits to each crane

All work was carried out in our Bibra Lakes workshop

to controlled work procedures

Both Cranes were installed into the customers  new Premises

Commissioned and load tested on completion
